E-House Taipas, a completely rehabilitated and decorated house with a youthful style, is an excellent option to live in the center of Porto.
Considered one of the best Erasmus houses in the city, it is recommended by several Faculties, Students Associations, Porto municipality/town hall, etc.
It is located in a residential area right in the center of the city and most of the hotspots of Porto are at a walking distance. The proximity of the city main attractions like historical sites, museums and nightlife is a big plus of this house.
There are numerous faculties very close by (most of them are at a 5-10 minutes walking distance from the house), such as: FLUP, FCUP, FAUP, FFUP, FBAUP, ESAP, ICBAS, FDUP, etc.
In the neighborhood there are also a lot of supermarkets, grocery stores, bars & pubs, nightclubs, libraries, shops, restaurants, bakeries and other facilities.

Very happy with this accomodation choice. The house was very lovely, new and clean and the rooms were very spacious for the price you pay. Clean sheets, towels and room at arrival. You aren’t very in the centre of the city but you know that already before booking. But the metro takes you everywhere and is very easy to find and use. A return ticket to the centre is about 2.40 euros. Our hosts were also very nice and tried to keep everyone happy. I would stay here again and definitly recommend it to others. Obrigado!
This house Just like a Home for us, I even left a comment on their wall, “家”！It just like a home for us, we know many friends there from all over the world, they are so kind and nice to everybody! It’s like a paradise for all the traveler! Very clean, very comfortable, and they have a big and nice kitchen, we can cook there everyday, and they have dishes watcher machine, how great is that!!! and watch machine!!! 5 mins to metro station, everything so nice!! Barbara is the greatest and charming lady in the house! We will be back when we travel to porto!
Our stay in E-house was very good, nothing bad to say about it. Rooms are clean, with space, you have all the things you need (kitchen, washing machine, living room TV..). It is a good location, not far from city center (by metro). Besides Ricardo is a very nice person, available and really ready to help. thanks again
